New homes in Aberporth

We are proposing a bespoke development at Ffordd Newydd to provide 15 high quality, sustainable new 2, 3 and 4 bed family homes in Aberporth. The development will provide a mix of semi-detached and linked houses, with 20% of the homes designated for local key workers at 70% of the market value.

We have updated and modified our plans following discussions with Ceredigion Council Planning Officers, and our proposals now include a mix of 2 , 3 and 4 bed homes. We have also reduced the height of the dwellings and amended the car parking arrangements with additional landscaping measures in place.

The design we have commissioned will retain the woodland edge on the north side of the project, and elements of the current hedgerows, and a new public footpath will improve access to the nearby Community Centre and playground.

The site is right in the heart of the town, within the town boundaries, providing access by walking and cycling to the town centre, the local primary schools, the beach and other local facilities, and with a bus stop right next to the location.

There is a significant demand for new homes in Ceredigion, and the local development plan has identified that new housing will be required in Aberporth. We believe that these proposals reflect a sensitive development at an appropriate location, which will deliver much needed new family homes.
